Help under served elementary schools in our area by supporting our School Supply Drive.  Drop off your items between July 17 - July 25th at the Parish Office or in the Church Narthex.  The list of items requested is HERE.

Are you thinking of becoming Catholic? Do you know someone who is interested in becoming Catholic?  Were you baptized Catholic but have not received either the Sacrament of Holy Communion or Confirmation?

If yes, you are invited to a RCIA Inquiry session. "Inquiry" is the first step, an initial exploration that encourages a deeper consideration of the important foundational principles of Catholicism. Thursday at 7:30 PM - July 22, or Aug 26 in the Parish Life Center (the building to the right of the Church, next to our Parish Office.)

R.C.I.A., which stands for the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults, is a program through which adults can join the Catholic Church or can complete their initiation by receiving their Sacraments.

FAITH FORMATION KIDS' CLUB - CATECHISTS & VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!

Kid’s Club will begin on Monday, September 13, 2021, in the PLC, and we are truly in need of volunteers to help continue our Faith Formation program here at St. Angela Merici.  YOU are very important to our program! The success of our religious program depends on the dedicated individuals in our parish who are willing to share their time, talents, and faith with their future church - our children. We encourage all our parishioners, as well as parents of children in our program, to help out in some way.
 
~If you feel the Lord has blessed you with an ability to communicate His truths to young people….We need you!!


~If you are a teacher by profession and would like to share your faith with our young people…..We need you!!


~If you are not a teacher by profession and would like to share your faith with our young people…we will give you the formation and tools needed because….We need you!!
~

If you can listen to a child’s prayers during class….We need you!!


~If you are a person of prayer……We need you!!


Please prayerfully consider answering God’s call to be a disciple of Jesus, to share your knowledge and love with our little children.

The Café Catholica summer series is open to all young adults (ages 18-39) and features dynamic speakers, prayer, and socializing. This year’s theme is: Courageous Love. Café Catholica 2021 will be held in person at the Catholic Charismatic Center (1949 Cullen Blvd., Houston) on four Mondays in July starting on July 5. Each night will include Mass at 6:00p.m., Talk at 7:15p.m., followed by snack, confession, and tailgate gathering at 8:15p.m. Come for all or part of the evening! No registration is needed to attend. The 8th Annual Concert for Life, supporting Houston Pregnancy Help Centers, returns on Thursday, July 29 at Bayou Music Center!
